Docs Silky Socks “Socks” 2001 Gelding
This grandson of Doc O’Lena, Doc Bar and Docs King
Chex is an amazingly talented horse. I have used him on the
ranch since 2006. He is an excellent rope horse outside and
in a pen. He has roped and tied hundreds of calves out in the
pasture. He has drug calves at brandings and headed and
healed several late, big calves. I’ve ridden this horse on long
drives and used him to doctor cows and calves. He trailers nicely.
In 2007 I showed Socks in the Cowboy State Stock Horse Association
in Riverton, WY. He won 2nd in the summer series as a greenhorn up against
very capable horses and riders. Until that time he had been used exclusively
on the ranch. He showed a good mind as he experienced all the new aspects
of the show arena.
Words don’t really describe how I feel about this horse. He is very expressive.
He likes to work and loves his job.

Prestigious Debbie
“Yeller” 2000 Mare
A daughter of Prestigious Promise and Debbie’s Command, and granddaughter of Go Leo Bar and Fritz Command, this palomino mare is strong and has a lot of heart. I purchased this mare in 2004 and she has been used exclusively on the ranch. I have used her to rope and tie calves, drag calves at brandings, and sort cattle. She has seen lots of open country and been on many long drives moving large herds of cattle. She has also been trailered regularly.
She has roped and tied literally thousands of calves outside in large pastures. She has roped large cows for doctoring and pulled cattle into stock trailers. After four years on the ranch she is my trusty, steady, dependable horse. She can be out to pasture for months, be caught up and saddled and ready to go to work.
